A couple from Israeli were on a European vacation left behind their 3 year old daughter at the airport. The couple had five children in total along with 18 suitcases. They were late for the charter flight to Paris and in the race to make it they lost their daughter.

Authorities Find And Defuse Several Bombs In Indian City

Authorities have defused a few unexploded bombs in a western Indian city of Surat - which has become one of the world’s largest diamond-polishing centers. Three days earlier blasts in the same area had killed 45 people. “We have defused seven bombs and (are) working on three more,” senior police official H.P. Singh stated in an interview.

Investigators Believe Oxygen Tank Caused Hole In Jet

Authorities from Australian have requested that the country’s national airline check all of the oxygen bottles in the fleet of Boeing 747’s jets. Investigators believe that one of the 747 jets - which ripped a hole mid-flight - was caused by an exploding cylinder.

Boeing 747 Makes Emergency Landing After Plane Ruptures

A Qantas Boeing 747 was forced to make an emergency landing in Manila today after part of the plane ruptured during the flight. The rupture left a hole in the fuselage of the plane. Passengers said that the plane - which had taken off from London - plunged 20,000 feet and was “absolutely terrifying”.

Iraq Not Welcome At Beijing Olympics

Iraq was told that they are not allowed to come to the Beijing Olympics only two weeks before the event begins. Beijing has ordered them away due to a political feud in Baghdad that has angered many of the games’ guardians.

The International Olympic Committee told Iraqi sports officials in a letter that it would uphold its ban imposed in June after the government in Baghdad replaced its national Olympic panel with members not recognized by the IOC. The IOC had called the move unacceptable government interference.

Suspect Receives Libel Damages In Case For Missing Girl

Robert Murat is an on-going investigation concerning the disappearance of a young British girl from Portugal this week. He accepted a six figure libel damages from several newspapers concerning allegations that he was personally involved in her abduction.

Robert Murat, a property consultant who lives near the holiday apartment where Madeleine McCann vanished, accepted 600,000 pounds from 11 national newspapers over the claims, his lawyer said. The 34-year-old was named a formal suspect by Portuguese police probing her disappearance but said he was innocent. Officers closed their investigation at the start of this month without charging anyone.

Police Use Movie To Catch Criminal

Everyone says that things that happen on television or dramatized and never true. In this case they couldn’t be farther from the truth. “Gomorra” is an organized-crime tale and without even meaning to it helped the Italian police find a criminal that they had been searching for.

The movie was screened in a Naples prison. A few of the inmates were related to the things that happened in the movie and recognized one of the actors as being part of the Italian Mafia in Naples.

The Quai Branly Museum in Paris, France bought a crystal skull after they were told that the skull was a mystical Aztec masterpiece. Less than three months later they discovered that it was a complete fake.

Nine Injured During Start Of Bull Running In Pamplona

The running of the bulls began Monday in Pamplona as usual - but it started off rocky after nine people were knocked to the ground by the large crowd that was running like mad to get out of the way. Authorities said that the nine victims had minor bruises and - but no serious damage was done to them.
