Air Force Investigates Collision Of Two Fighter Jets
The Air Force is in the midst of investigating why two fighter jets collided in the middle of a training exercise. The collision killed one of the pilots. Col. Todd Harmer – the commander of the 33rd Fighter Wing, 58th Fighter Squadron – stated that the F-15C Eagles fighter jet crashed into the Gulf of Mexico earlier this week. The pilots did manage to eject and were rescued – but one of the pilots died later.
